Nutrition Services: Meals on Wheels

Hot, nutritious, well-balanced meals delivered to your door! A program for those who are homebound, age 60 and over, or who are chronically disabled are eligible to receive meals.

HSI Meals-on-Wheels is a nonprofit service that delivers hot, nutritious noontime meals Monday through Friday with extra meals available for weekends. Diabetic or low sodium meals are available upon request. Our committed volunteers are from the neighborhood, local congregations, corporations, businesses and schools and they deliver to recipients living in their area. Along with each meal, volunteers also provide that special touch of comfort and a daily safety check.

HSI's Senior Dining program provides a hot nutritious noon time meal that is served at community centers in two locations in the county and at Circle of Friends Adult Day program. HSI is responsible for the overall administration of the Meals on Wheels program in Washington County and Senior Dining in three sites in the county.
